Camera Sensor – Web Cam Sensor

Camera Sensor detects any motion on your web cam and takes an action.

Currently being in a early beta stage supports the following features:

  1. Captures the motion into an AVI file
  2. Captures the 1st frame of motion on harddisk
  3. Submit that frame to Twitter by using TwitPic [optional as a plugin]

It works on Windows7 and Windows Vista. On Windows XP you may need to install .NET.

You can download the installer from here but since is password protected you may get the password from me if you are willing testing it and giving me some feedback.

CameraSensor

CameraSensor is a small .NET application that does some automatic action when a certain level of motion is detected in front of your webcam.

As an example I’ve set my webcam to have a look on my telephone and twitts a picture when motion occurs (e.g. on new incoming call).

As a result, you get the caller ID on your twitter account within seconds.

You can extend the usage of this app in many ways, e.g. by setting like a cheapo security system or to send automatic pictwitts with your webcam.

CameraSensor uses the AForge.NET library and will be available soon for download.
